I am 36 and purchased this laptop for school. My main points of purchase were long battery, life, and portable. I am not a gamer or anything involving photo or video editing/photoshop type stuff so I cannot comment on those areas. I am an online student who does online research, classes and use microsoft office. I am very pleased with the performance of this laptop. I feel like I did not have to compromise on any of the things I was looking for. It is so light and thin and the battery life is just amazing, I never would have thought that a full size laptop would be able to achieve this, (@6-9)hrs depending on what you are doing.
