Netbook computer or Notebook computer:- Which one is the best?

Many people within us don’t know about the difference between notebook and netbook computers. For them all are same. They call all these PC machines as a laptop. But my dear friend there is a lot of difference between these two types of computers. Now you will ask me a question what is the difference between these two as they look same, they works same. I tell you.

Notebook computers

A notebook computer is a battery- or AC-powered personal computer generally smaller than a briefcase that can easily be transported and conveniently used in temporary spaces such as on airplanes, in libraries, temporary offices, and at meetings. A notebook computer, sometimes called a laptop computer, typically weighs less than 5 pounds and is 3 inches or less in thickness. Notebook computers are those computers which are made for replacement of Desktop computers. These computers are thin and light weighted as compare to bulky Desktop PCs. Aside from size and portability, the principal difference between a notebook computer and a personal computer is the display screen.

These computers are most expensive then Desktop PCs because they are more difficult to design and manufacture.

Netbook computers

Netbook computers are the new generation computers. These are the small, compact, thin and light weighted computers designed to meet general computing and accessing web based application needs. These computers are inexpensive laptop computers which not only puts less weight on your wallet but it also fits in your bag or pocket. It is very easy to carry anywhere you want.

These computers are not designed for intensive computing needs, they can only do general applications like listening music, chatting on net, sending and receiving emails, playing games etc. you can’t run heavy weight programs on this PC.

So by above table it is clear now what the difference between these two computers is. So now the last question arises in your mind is which is to purchase Notebook computer or Netbook computer? So for this my answer is this that it depends on you. If you want to purchase computer just for the sake of entertainment and status icon than purchase Netbook computer and if your usage of computer is high such as if you use it for your office work or for any other huge task than purchase Notebook computer.

The decision is on you. Decide which inexpensive notebook computer is right for you!
